Welcome and Bienvenidos
Grupo Folklorico Tlapalli is a Mexican folk dance group. The group is dedicated to teaching Mexican dance and culture. It is also great exercise. The group is actually made up of two groups, one that practices out of the Sun Gallery in Hayward, CA and the other that practices out of a middle school in Livermore, CA. The dancers come in all shapes, sizes, cultures, and ages. It is also a family affair. Jose, the main instructor, has enlisted his parents, sister, aunts, uncles, wife and children to help with the practices and performances. The parents of his younger dancers are asked to help. We invite you to explore the site and get to know the group.
Classes
We welcome students of all ages. We have classes in Hayward and Livermore.
Performances
Our dancers perform at schools, cultural centers, commercial venues, and for private parties.
